I.INTRODUCTION


Computers have brought a revolution across all the industries. They have changed the face of society. They are mo longer specialized tools to be used by specially trained people. They are ubiquitous and used in almost every sphere of life. Computers are the best means for storage and management of data, they can served as huge knowledge bases and can be harnessed for all sort of financial transactions owing to their processing power and storage capacities. As computers are daily utility, they have gained immense importance in day-to-day life. Their increasing utility has made computer education the need of the day.

The pace innovation continues to make an ever increasing impact
in al cores of computing and communication technology. Computers are
not only storage devices and processing units, but also are excellent
computing machine. In the business world, here is the payroll inquiry via
(SMS) to make their work faster, reliable and accurate.

With this, requesting their salaries from the Finance
Department can be more convenient with just one click. Instead of
Older ways in getting the pay slip, the employees can now have a
direct access through short message service (SMS).




II. TECHNICAL

Mobile phones are commonly used by everyone. That is why different system already uses mobile phones for transactions were rampant nowadays. This application can be combined with personal computer’s database as the mobile phone as the primary device.


III. FINANCIAL

This proposed Payroll Inquiry via SMS will cost less expensive. Estimated around Php 20,000-30,000 is required to accomplish this system. It only uses mobile phones and personal computer as the server that will receive and store data. Mobile phones will not be a problem for evaluating this system because it is commonly use by every individuals nowadays.






IV. ORGANIZATIONAL

The Payroll Inquiry via SMS is compatible with. Because the user will also undergo with the same procedure but this time it will be through the text messaging. They will just key in their name, position, company’s id and company name. And it will access directly to the computer system. This proposed system is an improvement of the present system that would make it more convenient and also reliable.
V. ETHICAL

About 1.7 billion or about ¾ of the Philippine population are using mobile phones and about 13 trillion text messages are sent every day. So it would be a great help to the society because they can request their pay slip to the Finance Department of their respective company’s hassle free anytime and anywhere.

In connection with this, we introduce a system that is in line to our fast moving technology of today. This system is entitled: Payroll Inquiry via SMS. Its concept focuses on the inquiring salary deductions through mobile phone’s SMS
How it works:

In this system, it provide a code when texting, a server or a database that will accept the text. The employee will include the needed information in processing the documents. Their full name, company’s id, position and company’s name. After sending the server will accept the text and it will be read in the database. The database will automatically send back a confirmation message. When it is already confirmed in the database that the user has already sent the information that needed.
